What Is the Yoga Wall®
The Yoga Wall® was inspired by rope-wall, first created by B.K.S. Iyengar in India as a way to help students lengthen the spine, refine posture, and explore movement safely. Ropes attached to the wall act as both lever and support, teaching the body where it is strong and where it needs clarity. Originally developed for yoga, the system has since found its way across disciplines. At Sequins, it has been reimagined for Pilates.

Mackenzie, founder of Sequins, first discovered the Yoga Wall® while teaching in Montreal at ELMNT Studio in NDG. What began as curiosity became something closer to devotion. The wall offered precision where there had been approximation and feedback where there had been guesswork. When Sequins opened in Toronto, the Yoga Wall® was always going to be part of its story.
