SEQUINS ISN’T JUST A MOVEMENT STUDIO. HERE, WE CREATE EXPERIENCES THAT SHIMMER WITH VITALITY.

A person in shorts and a long-sleeve shirt is dancing or practicing a move in a room with hardwood floors and a large window with striped curtains.

We spark that unmistakable flutter that comes with the electric pull of trying something new, something daring, and finding yourself hooked, on the movement, and the joy of simply being.

This is where the world’s noise dissolves, where you lose yourself in the tempo of the unpolished moments. It’s about noticing what your what your body needs, and trusting it. Our classes won’t push your limits; they’ll invite you to trust them.

Whether you’re here for small classes, an elegant private event, or team wellness that feels like a breath of fresh air, SEQUINS offers it all, served up with a wink.

You’ll leave feeling radiant, and maybe, just maybe, in tune with that rare, unforced cadence, the one that stirs gently when you dare to truly listen to your body’s whisper.

THE SPACE

Sequins occupies the main floor of a charming Victorian home on Parliament St, the heartbeat of Cabbagetown, Toronto. A space of subtle transformation- Barres anchor to the wall for Barre Call, slings unfurl for Connect Core, and the room reshapes itself with ease depending on each class offered. Light streams through the bay window, warming polished floors, as bodies stretch, sweat, and soar.

A MESSAGE FROM MACKENZIE

Bringing Sequins to you feels like watching a long-held dream finally take a bow.

Movement has always been my anchor, the hand on my shoulder that steadies me when life tilts sideways or my mind bolts off like a startled horse. Whether I’m on a mat, trotting the ponies, or paddling a canoe with friends (who never fail to overpack the cheese).

I named the studio Sequins out of a desire to drape the place in glitter and because life, with its charming imperfections, handed me a mispronunciation. Somewhere along the way, “sequence” slipped into “sequins,” and I couldn’t resist the shimmer of it. It’s a playful nod, a touch of whimsy. Why settle for order when you can have brilliance?

Thank you for being here. I am so glad you stopped by.

Yours,
Mackenzie
