There is more than one way to feel your best, and at SEQUINS STUDIO we built a schedule around that idea. We're a boutique fitness studio under one Victorian roof, offering Pilates, yoga, barre and fascia care in Toronto, with methods designed to complement one another.
Every class is small, so you get real attention. We use a range of equipment, from suspension slings and rope walls to massage balls and the barre. Some classes are gentle, a few are a little more firing, and all of them are meant to leave you feeling inspired.

Why I created these classes
I developed every class on our schedule to offer range. Each one is deliberately distinct from the others, so you always have a clear idea of what to expect in terms of method and intensity before you walk in.
These classes grew out of the methods that have worked for me, and what my own body appreciates and responds to. Some days call for a deep burn. Other days call for space, softness and a reset. I wanted a studio where you could find both, and everything in between.
Here's a look at each class, who it's for, and why it exists.
Pilates in Toronto: three ways in
PILAT-EASE
PILAT-EASE is Pilates at its most welcoming. The pace is slower, the cues are clear, and there's time to understand each movement before you build on it.
It's ideal if you're new to the method and looking for beginner-friendly Pilates in Toronto. It's equally good if you want to move with more care, whether you're coming back from a break, working around a niggle, or simply prefer quality over quantity. Regulars also use it as active recovery between more intense sessions.
Who it's for: beginners, anyone returning to movement, and anyone wanting a mindful recovery day.
CONNECT CORE
CONNECT CORE is our sling suspension class, with similarities to both TRX and Reformer. Your body works against gravity using the suspension sling, which means every movement is slow, controlled and supported.
The result is a deep, controlled burn through your centre. If you love the feeling of your core switching on in a way you can't fake, this is a deep core burn like no other.
Who it's for: anyone wanting serious core strength with support and control.
SEQUINS
Our signature class shares the studio's name for a reason. SEQUINS is an endurance and sculpt Pilates class, and the only class on our schedule with a bit of cardio woven throughout.
It's beat-based but evenly paced, so you stay in rhythm without rushing. Think of it as a SEQUENCE of Pilates and barre-inspired movement that builds stamina and leaves you feeling strong.
Who it's for: anyone who wants to sweat a little, move to music and build endurance.
Yoga
STRETCH LIMO
STRETCH LIMO is about familiar shapes and deep shifts. You'll move through beautiful flows built from poses you'll recognise, without overcomplicating things.
There's no need to chase advanced postures here. The focus is on settling into each shape, lengthening, and letting the flow carry you. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
Who it's for: anyone who wants a flowing, approachable yoga class that leaves them longer and looser.
THE GOOD HANG
THE GOOD HANG draws on Iyengar yoga and rope wall yoga. With the support of the sling and the ropes, you can drop into spinal traction and let gravity do the work.
There are fewer poses, but longer holds. That slower rhythm gives your nervous system time to regulate, and your spine a chance to decompress.
Who it's for: anyone carrying tension in their back, anyone curious about rope wall yoga, and anyone who needs to slow right down.
Fascia and restorative
DUCK COMFIT
DUCK COMFIT is our fascia care class, and it's about as cosy as it sounds. Using massage balls, we work into the spaces that simple stretching can't reach.
The goal is muscle softening and nervous system regulation. You'll leave feeling looser, calmer and more at home in your body.
Who it's for: anyone who feels tight no matter how much they stretch, and anyone who needs to unwind.
Barre in Toronto
BARRE CALL
Consider this your call to the barre. BARRE CALL targets your deep stabilisers, the small muscles that make big movements possible.
You'll feel them working in every pulse and hold, right down to those little shakes that tell you it's doing its job. If you're searching for one of the best barre workouts in Toronto, this is the class to try.
Who it's for: anyone who loves precise, focused work and a satisfying muscle burn.
MAMMA MIA: our mum and baby class
MAMMA MIA is a space for new mums to reconnect with their bodies, with baby right there beside them. It runs on Thursdays at 10:45am.
There's stroller parking out front, so getting in the door is one less thing to think about.
That’s me, Mackenzie, welcoming the little ones to MAMMA MIA parent and baby classes.
What every class has in common
Every class at SEQUINS is 50 minutes long and follows the same thoughtful arc:
A warm-up. Sometimes on the ground, beginning with breath. Sometimes standing, with movement-based openings (most common for Barre Call)
The work. The method and intensity that make each class its own.
A stretch and reset. Every class finishes with a moment to recentre before you head back into your day.
Our schedule is built so you get enough variation and progression that you never get bored. Mix a firing CONNECT CORE with a slow THE GOOD HANG, or pair SEQUINS with DUCK COMFIT for recovery. There's something for everyone.
